Principal's Message

Last day of school is June 13th!-MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE

WEDNESDAY (6/12) AND THURSDAY (6/13) WE WILL BE ON A MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE.
STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED AT 1:05 P.M. BOTH DAYS

I do hope that you have a restful and rejuvenating summer break. Encourage your students to lose themselves in exciting books, to write stories about their experiences or keep a journal. Have them practice using a budget instead of just supplying cash every time they ask. Look toward the skies and keep an eye out for comets, planets, and other celestial sightings. I wish our 8th grade students the best of luck in high school. Have a fabulous summer!

Reminders:
• NO BACKPACKS THURSDAY---Please remind your child that backpacks are not to be brought to school on the last day of school.
• Students are not to bring food to school to pass out to friends or classes as we will not be having class parties. This includes Starbucks/Dutch Bros drinks, etc.
• Lunch can only be delivered for your child and Uber Eats is not allowed.
• ASP PROGRAM---Tuesday (6/11) is the last day for ASP. There will be no ASP on Thursday (6/13).

Academic Awards – 8th grade awards @ 8:30 a.m. and 7th grade awards @ 10:30 a.m. in the gym. Any student who has earned a GPA of 3.0 or above this semester will receive an award. During the 8th grade ceremony, special awards will also be handed out to our Department All-Stars, Superintendent’s Award (your child was recognized at the Promotion Ceremony) and winners of our male and female Athlete-of-the-Year. If your student completed the requirements and turned in the paperwork for the Titan Award, that will be handed out at the ceremony as well.
