Dear Rio Vista Titan Families,
My name is Kinzie Fink, and I am proud to introduce myself to you as your new Rio Vista Principal!
I am thrilled about this opportunity to join a team of outstanding educators in my own district of residence and am grateful to be a part of such an amazing school that is well-known around the valley for its excellence.
As a valley native, I join CUSD with over 20 years of experience in education. I began my journey serving ten years as a High School English Teacher and coach, prior to earning my first administrative position. In my 11-year administrative tenure, I have served as a learning director and vice principal at both the middle school and high school levels, and as a summer principal. To name a few highlights, I have worked collaboratively with my teams to achieve recognition as a California Middle School to Watch, Platinum PBIS High School, and Bonner Recognition.
With both the middle school and high school background as my lens, I’m excited to ease the transition for our middle schoolers in assisting in their preparation for high school, college, community, and career readiness.
I am hoping that the experience I bring and the relationships that I foster can add to the great traditions and positive practices that have already been established at Rio Vista. I am dedicated to creating and maintaining an inclusive, safe, learning environment and school experience where all students can reach their fullest potential academically and personally.
I am passionate about education and am extremely excited to build relationships with all educational partners to ensure that every one of our Titans continues to achieve excellence and is taken to new heights.
